General Info

If you’re craving bold flavors and a laid-back vibe, Gerardo's Tacos is one of those spots that quickly earns a place on your regular rotation. This Mexican restaurant keeps things simple yet satisfying, focusing on quality ingredients and a menu that delivers exactly what you expect-comfort food done right.

Walking in, the atmosphere feels casual and welcoming, making it perfect whether you’re stopping by for a quick solo dining experience or grabbing a relaxed meal with family. The ordering process is smooth, and with options like takeout, credit card payments, and even NFC mobile payments, everything feels convenient from start to finish.

Now, let’s talk about the food-because that’s really what keeps people coming back. The Tacos Al Pastor are a standout, packed with juicy, well-seasoned meat and a balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors that hit just right. On the other hand, the Tacos De Carne Asada bring a smoky richness that feels classic and deeply satisfying. Pair either option with their salsa bar, and you get to customize every bite exactly how you like it, from mild to fiery.

If you’re in the mood for something a bit heartier, the Chimichanga Combo is worth exploring. It’s crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside, and filling enough to keep you going for hours. Meanwhile, the rolled tacos are perfect when you want something crunchy and easy to share-or not, depending on your mood.

Another thing that stands out is how approachable the menu feels. Whether you’re dining with kids or just looking for something quick and familiar, the kids' menu ensures there’s something for everyone. It’s this kind of flexibility that makes the place feel accessible, not overwhelming.

From a reviewer’s perspective, what really sticks with you is the consistency. The flavors are reliable, the service is straightforward, and the overall experience feels genuine. It’s not trying to be trendy or over-the-top-it just focuses on delivering solid Mexican food in a way that feels honest.

In a city packed with dining options, this location manages to stand out by doing the basics exceptionally well. Whether you’re checking out reviews before your visit or just passing by and deciding on the spot, it’s the kind of place that leaves you satisfied without overthinking it.

“ Authentic Mexican dishes with good hearty portions. Organ meats and menudo are savory. The salsa bar has red and green salsa along with lime wedges and escabeche (Pickled veggies). All for a good price. ”

“ Went here for a quick late night dinner after a movie. Nice little spot plenty of seating. Very casual. They have the sauce bar to get your own sauces. The prices are affordable and good especially for what you get. Had a carne asada taco plate came with refried beans, Spanish rice, and 3 carne asada tacos. Also got some jamaica juice. Service was friendly and food came out fast will be back! ”

- Roann Lara -

“ I have been here twice. The first time, I had gotten tacos, and they were really good. They had all the sauces and veggies you need. Today I went because I'm a little under the weather so I wanted some Pozole. I went through the drive-thru. The lady was super nice. She asked if I wanted radishes, onion, and all of the good stuff. She hooked it up! It did take a while, but it was worth the wait. When I brought the soup home, it was stupid hot. I even made a stop before I went home. There were big chunks of meat in the Pozole! I will definitely be back. ”

“ Stopped by for the first time today. Was looking for more authentic Mexican food then Taco Bell. Lol. The tacos were very good. Not huge, but the size was street tacos.Plenty of meat on them. Meat was favorable and not tuff. I got 4 different types. All were good. The carnitas was a little dry, but pork can be dry. The shop was very clean, and cashier was pleasant. The prices were very resonable...I will go back.... ”
